RAIT invests directly, as an owner, in commercial real estate properties. We own a portfolio of approximately $1 billion of real estate properties, consisting primarily of multi-family properties. We seek to maximize the value of these properties over time by utilizing our in-house property management capabilities to improve the operating performance of the properties.
